Kim Magowan’s second short story collection, How Far I’ve Come (2022), was published by Gold Wake Press. Her novel The Light Source (2019) was published by 7.13 Books. Her debut collection, Undoing (2018), won the 2017 Moon City Short Fiction Award. It was published in March 2018 by Moon City Press, and is available from the press and from Bookshop.

Magowan lives in San Francisco with her partner and their two daughters, and teaches in the Department of Literatures and Languages at Mills College. Her fiction has been published in Craft Literary Review, The Gettysburg ReviewSmokeLong Quarterly, Wigleaf, and many other journals. Her stories have been selected for Best Small Fictions and Wigleaf’s Top 50. She is the Editor-in-Chief and Fiction Editor for Pithead Chapel.
